KL City Council Award UTM Team to Develop KL Pedestrian and Bicycle Masterplan

The Kuala Lumpur City Council (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur/DBKL) has awarded a RM2.18 million project to develop the Kuala Lumpur Pedestrian and Bicycle Masterplan to the Centre of Innovative Planning and Development (CiPD). CiPD is a research Centre of Excellence in the Faculty of Built Environment, UTM. The research team from CiPD will be led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zaly Shah while the project manager is Prof. Dr. Amran Hamzah. The coordination meeting to mark the kick-off of the project was held on 24th February 2017 at Menara DBKL, Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was chaired by Tn. Hj. Norazizi Mokhtar, Director, Dept of Infrastructure Planning, DBKL.
